Move for Mental Health- October 2023

October is an important month for the mental health community. World Mental Health Day and Mental Illness Awareness Week both fall in October. Interim, Inc., the largest provider of housing services for adults living with mental illness in Monterey County, is organizing an awareness and fundraising event emphasizing the importance of movement to mental health.

Throughout the month of October, YOU can be a catalyst for mental health awareness in our community! Whether you want to turn over a new leaf or do something you already love doing, we invite you to set a goal for yourself to get outdoors and move, be it walking, hiking, running, biking, swimming, or other physical activity, while raising funds to support Interim’s vital community services! It’s free to register, so what have you got to lose!
